Color - It's A Natural Thing

Good evening,

I was thinking about how much color impacts us in our everyday lives and lots of times we don't even realize just how much it does. In my latest project, as I reviewed back over elements used in the space many of the colors were dictated by what occurs in the world around us. Just by using colors given to us by God in nature, you can combine natural colors through out your interior spaces. I know we all can get busy just living life but if we never stop to see all the truly beautiful colors around us, is it a life worth really living? Now I call this true inspiration!!!!

The New Beauties - It's Natural

Good evening, this week I was thinking about how important nature and it's elements play an important part in any interiors design space from traditional to the starkest of spaces, God's beauty alway takes center stage. The sea fans float beautifully on the wall. The palm leaves above the bed is a simple but effective way to bring the outdoors in. They are just that, brought in from my client's own backyard!!

Lovely Lamps " The New Beauties"

Good evening, I've had few days to think about more of "The Beauties". Lately I have been in a beautiful lamp phase. I love simple lamps. I think they speak volumes in a room. Whether it's the shape, size, color or style of shade, they always have a personality all their own. I love ceramic lamps in particular. They always generate a great style, wonderful color and function in a space. The rest of the week, I am dedicating it to lovely lamps, "The New Beauties". So light it up!

The Beauties

Good morning all, this morning I woke up just thinking about all of the beautiful things that surround us in our everyday life and how I relate and incorporate them in my designs. It got me to thinking about simple things that occur in nature and I could only give thanks to God for such beauty. I know that by using these elements, my designs have a fresh and wholeness about them. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as my clients and I had in the process of design.
